About Me
I’m Euladora Winter Rose—Eula for short. Growing up between the Quad Cities and Minneapolis, I’ve always balanced a love for the outdoors with a passion for creative expression.
I built my foundation at Benilde-St. Margaret’s through courses in painting, drawing, and 3D design, and expanded it with courses at Boston Architectural College. Currently, I’m advancing my skills through: AutoCAD, Community Practice, live figure drawing, hand lettering, botanical watercolor, sculpture, and Revit. These experiences strengthen both my technical fluency and creative versatility. As I begin my undergraduate studies in architecture, I’m excited to combine artistry, design, and community impact in my future work.
Architecture inspires me because it exists at the intersection of art, structure, and human experience. I am drawn to the way architecture translates abstract ideas—such as harmony, hierarchy, and complexity—into physical spaces that shape how people move, feel, and interact with the world around them. Through drawing, observation, and design exploration, I have learned to see buildings not as static objects, but as living systems that respond to their environment and to the people who inhabit them. Whether studying faces, landscapes, or built forms, I am constantly searching for moments where design achieves balance and meaning.
What excites me most about architecture is its ability to create beauty with purpose and impact. Unlike purely visual art, architecture carries responsibility: it must serve communities, endure time, and influence daily life. This duality—creative expression grounded in real-world constraints—is what motivates me to pursue architecture as both a discipline and a calling. I am inspired by the challenge of designing spaces that are thoughtful, human-centered, and emotionally resonant, and by the opportunity architecture offers to improve how people experience their surroundings at every scale.

My Cat
Saturn has been with me for several years, and her calm, curious nature always makes me appreciate the smaller details in daily life. That same appreciation for detail shapes how I approach design and creative projects.
Creating
Art has always been one of my strongest forms of expression. From early art camps in the Quad Cities to experimenting with clay, drawing, and design, I’ve learned how creating can connect personal meaning with broader ideas. This exploration of form, material, and imagination continues to influence the way I approach architecture.
Hiking
In August 2024, my mom and I climbed Mt. Fuji during a trip to Japan. Reaching the summit was both challenging and rewarding, and it gave me a new perspective on how landscapes and natural environments shape human experience. Adventures like this inspire me to think about how architecture can connect people to place.
Family
I have a half-sister who is 9 years old and lives in Wisconsin. Even though we don’t see each other often, her curiosity and kindness remind me of the importance of designing spaces that feel welcoming and supportive for people of all ages.
Friends
At Benilde-St. Margaret’s, I’ve been fortunate to make friends who are supportive, creative, and encouraging. These relationships remind me that collaboration is at the heart of meaningful work—including architecture, where ideas grow stronger through teamwork and shared perspectives.
Our Dogs
Evie, Rose, and Nova—bring a lot of energy and joy into my life. Living with them has taught me about the rhythms of shared spaces and the balance between comfort, play, and structure—lessons that translate into how I think about creating environments for both people and animals.
