Chaos and Harmony 2026
I am pleased to share that my piece, Genesis, has been accepted into the Chaos and Harmony 2026 international exhibition.
The theme of this show explores the delicate balance between opposing forces, which felt like a natural fit for this work. Genesis is a study of the moment of creation itself. By placing a fragile bug egg—a symbol of life’s potential and the complexity of the soul—against the backdrop of a violent, vivid supernova, I wanted to capture the harmony found within cosmic chaos. It represents that singular explosion of energy required for life to emerge from the void.
This piece was also a personal milestone in my process, as it was my first time experimenting with oil paint on a handmade canvas. I spent a lot of time learning how to manipulate the medium—using watered-down layers to create the cloud-like textures of the nebula and flicking paint to create a star-scattered effect.
Being included in Chaos and Harmony is a wonderful opportunity to share this exploration of life’s beginnings with a global audience. It’s a reminder that even in the most turbulent environments, there is a structured beauty waiting to unfold.
