Dynamix 2026
There’s a specific kind of electricity that fills a studio when a piece begins to take on a life of its own. For me, that moment arrived with Phoenix. It started as an exploration of movement, but as the work evolved, it became a meditation on the very nature of energy—how it shifts, burns, and eventually, transforms.
That is why I am so incredibly proud to share that Phoenix has been selected for the Dynamix 2026 international juried exhibition.
Capturing the Unseen
The theme for this year’s Dynamix is "The Art of Motion, Change, and Energy." When I first read the call for entry, it felt like a mirror to my own creative process. We often think of art as a static thing—a finished object hanging on a wall—but the act of creating is pure dynamism. It’s the movement of an idea from the internal landscape to the external world.
In Phoenix, I wanted to capture that precise "transient moment" that represents the courage to embrace change and the energy required to rise again, evolved and renewed.
