I'm honored to share that my mixed-media sculptural work Untitled (tree) has been selected for publication in Artistonish Magazine, Issue 071 (page 074). Artistonish is an international contemporary art magazine that showcases emerging and established artists from around the world, making it a privilege to have this piece included alongside such a diverse collection of contemporary work.
Untitled (Tree) continues my exploration of the relationship between natural systems and constructed forms. Built from layered canvases mounted on a carved plywood support, the work extends beyond the traditional picture plane to create a sculptural experience. Vibrant blue thread branches across the geometric composition, connecting rigid architectural forms with the organic rhythm of a tree. Rather than depicting a landscape, the piece examines growth, structure, and the unseen networks that shape both the natural world and the environments we create.
Being featured in Artistonish Issue 071 is an exciting milestone in the journey of this artwork.
